Twist table

One of the first commissions to have undertaken when I set out on my own was for a set of contemporary nesting tables. The result was an experimentation with twisting laminations. Layers of timber are placed in a vacuum bag a glued around formers in a three dimensional fashion . This aesthetic has stayed with me, I still get excited about texture, curves and the purity of a line.
