Textured herringbone dressing room

Working in collaboration with Furnish studio we were set the task of revamping a dressing room interior. The existing cabinets and dressing area were functional and well made so we opted to replace the frontages of the whole interior with hand made herringbone Ash veneers and a warm black translucent finish.

The central sliding doors have a textured sawn finish providing a natural sophisticated aesthetic when paired with patinated brass, antiqued mirror and leather.

The interior in effect is a super sized marquetry project, each herringbone point perfectly aligning around the room.
